Why Ecuadorian roses?

Ecuador is the birthplace of the world’s most admired roses, and at Agrivaldani, a family-owned farm located in Tabacundo, we cultivate this excellence with pride and dedication. Our privileged location in the foothills of the Andes—more than 2,800 meters above sea level—provides ideal conditions for the development of roses with firm stems, large buds, and intense colors.

The year-round temperate, spring-like climate, along with our proximity to the equator, ensures up to 12 hours of direct sunlight per day. This constant light promotes efficient photosynthesis, resulting in vibrant and resilient flowers. We also rely on pure water from volcanic melt, which nourishes each plant naturally in a fertile and carefully managed environment.

At Agrivaldani, these geographical, water, and climatic factors combine with rigorous technical and sustainable management, resulting in a rose that stands out for its quality, durability, and beauty in demanding international markets.

But what truly makes our roses unique is the soul behind them. We are a family owned farm, where each flower reflects the commitment, effort, and passion of those who grow it. Our flortisans—some with more than a generation dedicated to the art of growing—don’t just plant and harvest: they put their heart into every step. At Agrivaldani, we don’t just grow roses, we grow dreams. Our roses aren’t just grown…they’re cared for, honored, and dreamed of.
